Hurricane Lee has taken a largely expected turn toward the north-northwest today (September 13) and is forecast to weaken slightly while accelerating northward over the waters of the western Atlantic the next two to three days. Hurricane hunters are currently investigating Hurricane Lee which has remained at category 3 status the past couple of days with sustained winds of 110mph. Lee contains a large field of hurricane force winds which extend some 100 miles from its eye. Tropical storm force winds extend over 200 miles from the center, which indicates that all coastal regions of New England will likely be impacted by sustained winds over 40mph, with some regions receiving gusts above hurricane force.
Interests along the U.S. East Coast from Long Island north and northeastward to the Atlantic Coast of southern Canada should prepare for an extended period of heavy rain, wind and extremely rough coastal waters.
Thus, Hurricane Lee continues to be monitored by all interested parties along the coast of New England, and preparations should be taken upon the issuance of watches and/or warnings by the National Hurricane Center!
Great to see you writing some more!
Thanks, Lilia

Okay, Jessica. I will.
Hello, Jessica
How are you doing today? I’ve updated the Hurricane Lee post just a little while ago. Seems I remember you saying you planned to travel to New York this coming weekend. Let me know that and how things are going.
Hope all is well!
John
