El Camino Real cover

After hustling across “The Royal Road,” Ben Wilson finds himself viewed through a kaleidoscope of shifting identities which he must comprehend in order to survive. He discovers that certain people he meets recognize him not as Ben Wilson, but rather as a father, a butler to an age-old actress, or a drug pusher. Ben is not traveling alone. Maribel is another pedestrian caught in El Camino Real’s web. While walking the pathway, she finds herself transported from her Spanish colonial California of the early 1800s into Ben’s 21st century Los Angeles. The quandary of oscillating time, space, and identity will intensify unless Ben and Maribel can hang on to each other’s sleeve while treading El Camino Real’s twisted timeless path to its origin.
